This was a piece a made for my last blog, which I used to explore web design from the perspective of someone who mainly does back-end coding.  Though it ran only a year (and the original files have gone to a better place), the PSD’s and a couple screen captures remain.  I would say this is the first thing I did that I didn’t immediately hate, and the wordpress theme I created with it was the heavily modified source from Kubrick, one of WordPress’ default themes.

The original wasn’t doubled, as you see it, but left a sort of battle being waged between the natural vines and man-made gears.  It’s still my twitter background.
